Odisha prepares to welcome PM Narendra Modi ahead of BJP national executive meet. PM Modi is to arrive in Odisha at 3.30pm and will head straight to Janta Park, where the national executive meeting is scheduled to be held. Party is expected to discuss past successes and future plans at the meeting. According to sources around one lakh people are expected to witness Modi’s road show.

In retaliation over Jadhav issue, India calls off security dialogue with Pakistan. Amid fresh turmoil in ties with Pakistan, India has decided to put on hold all bilateral exchanges with Pakistan including talks on maritime security, which were scheduled for Monday. India officially conveyed to Pakistan that it wasn’t prepared to host a delegation of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) which was supposed to travel to India on Sunday. Secretary-level talks on the Indus Waters Treaty have also been postponed.

Temperatures crossed 40 degree celsius in Delh on Friday.
