| A UK court has granted loan defaulter Vijay Mallya bail till December 4 and will hear the case again on July 6. He was appearing for his extradition case hearing based on a formal request made by India. The judge today set a timetable to hear the arguments for and against Mallya’s extradition. | The Reserve Bank of India today said it is launching a new batch of Rs 500 notes. The new notes will have the inset letter “A” in both the number panels, bearing the signature of RBI governor Urjit R. Patel. The design is otherwise similar to the Rs 500 banknotes in Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series which were first notified on November 8th last year. |
