This comes right after China opened its major foreign policy initiative- the One Belt One Road summit in Beijing. Various students and political organisations protested the OBOR in Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu and Ghizer, describing the corridor as the region’s “Road of slavery.” |
| The International Court of Justice will today hold a public hearing on the Kulbhushan Jadhav issue. India and Pakistan will present their respective cases at the hearing. India has based its arguments on alleged violation of the Vienna Convention by Pakistan, citing repeated denial of consular access to Jadhav, sentenced to death by a Pakistan military court for alleged spying. |
