Police said three explosions went off near the bus as it left the hotel in Dortmund, shortly before the start of the team’s Champions League clash with AS Monaco. | The Supreme Court has ordered shutting down a mobile tower after complaint from a man that it has given him cancer. The complainant from Gwalior said, the BSNL tower illegally installed on a neighbour’s rooftop had exposed him to harmful radiation for the last 14 years. Activists allege, radiation from mobile towers cause harm in animals and birds. But the government says this is not backed by any scientific evidence. |
| Pakistan released 63 Indian fishermen with their seven boats, after Indian Coast Guard rescued two Pakistani marines in the high seas. The Pakistani boat with six on board capsized after a collision off the Jakhau coast. Indian sailors rescued two commandos while an ICG ship recovered bodies of three others who had drowned. The Indian fishermen were then released in a ‘goodwill gesture.’ |
