India warned Pakistan of severe consequences if Pakistan decides to go ahead with the execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav. “There is no evidence of wrongdoing by Jadhav. If anything, he is the victim of a plan that seeks to cast aspersions on India to deflect international attention from Pakistan’s well-known record of sponsoring and supporting terrorism,” external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said. Pakistan media described Jadhav’s death sentence as “unprecedented”.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered 18-hour power supply in villages. In a Cabinet meeting, second since Adityanath assumed office, it was decided that there will be 24-hour power supply in district headquarters, 20-hour at tehsil level and in Bundelkhand region.
The CBI initiated a probe against Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain in an alleged money laundering case. CBI sources said Jain is involved in laundering of Rs 4.63 crore while being a public servant during 2015-16 through three companies. Shares worth Rs 10 were shown to be purchased for Rs 590 and the money so recovered back in the form of investment in shares was used by Jain for buying agricultural land worth Rs 27.69 crore in Delhi in the name of his companies.

US President Donald Trump said US is ready to solve North Korea problem without China. Trump said he had told China’s President Xi Jinping that Beijing would get a better trade deal with Washington if it helped solve the US problem with North Korea. “If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them!” he tweeted. North Korea, on the other hand, warned of a nuclear attack on the US at any sign of a US pre-emptive strike.

It’s not right to sail in two boats. He’s also a member of the IPL Governing Council,” a top BCCI official said.
