The govt today summoned the Pakistan envoy after an alleged Indian spy was sentenced to death by Pak military. The Pakistani military court sentenced Indian national Kulbushan Jadhav to death. Jadhav was “arrested” last year by Pakistan security officials and was accused of planning “subversive activities” in the country. India slammed Pak’s move and called the sentence ‘premeditated murder’.

Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad today took the Mumbai Rajdhani Express to Delhi rather than opting for a flight. Contrary to earlier reports, the Sena MP is said to have boarded the Rajdhani Express instead of taking a flight to attend the Parliament session in Delhi. The two-week air travel ban on the MP was lifted last week after the intervention of the ministry of civil aviation.
The government revealed that it is working on a secret weapon to disperse crowds in J&K. “Seeing as skunk water, laser dazzlers and high intensity noise devices have not been “successful” in dispersing protesters, security forces are working on a secret weapon to disperse crowds,” attorney general Mukul Rohatgi told the Apex Court. He was defending the use of pellet guns in the valley.
