PM Modi said today that there is a mindset in South Asia which encourages terrorism. The Prime Minister paid tributes to the heroes of 1971 war along with Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina and made a veiled attack on Pakistan when he said that a certain mindset in South Asia backs terrorism. “We wish that citizens of all countries move towards development. But for this terrorism, terrorist mentality has to be abandoned,” he added.

The Dalai Lama said that it is up to his followers, not China, to decide the fate of his office. India extended a credit line of $4.5 billion today for the implementation of projects in Bangladesh.
